Cora Helen Pierce Buckles, 81, Chuckey, Tenn. Formerly of Elizabethton passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Durham-Hensley Health & Rehab,, Chuckey. She was born August 6, 1944 in Carter County to the late Clarence & Susie Oliver Pierce.. She was a graduate of Unaka High School. Cora was retired from the Life Care Center of Elizabethton as a LPN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Carl Buckles and a sister: Diana Sue Pierce. She was a member of Blue Springs Christian Church.

Survivors include her Daughter: Carla (Wesley) Brown, Chuckey and Jeffrey (Dusti) Buckles, Kingsport. Three Grandchildren: Jakob Buckles, Peyton Brown and Easton Brown. Two Sisters: Nelda Nave, and Dorothy Rash, One Brother: Terry Pierce. Several nieces & nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews. A Special Friend: Patricia Martin.

It was her wish to be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
