Clyde Alfred "Pete" Ledford passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at his residence. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Clyde & Sylvia Ledford. He was retired from North American Rayon Corporation after 33 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John & Steve Ledford and two sisters: Mary Rose & Nancy Anne Ledford. He was a member of ERPCC.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Leona Carr Ledford. One Daughter: Jessica & Steve Harrell, One Son: David Ledford. One Grandson: Jacob Clyde Harrell. One Brother: Lonnie Gene (Becky) Ledford and Sherry Ledford & several nephews and nieces; brother-in-law Jerry and Ann Carr. Also a special friend: Wayne Blevins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2025 in the East River Park Christian Church with Pastor Jason Payne officiating.
