Obituary

Cirie Theresa Oaks Blevins, 74, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born September 27, 1949 in Elizabethton to the late Casey & Mary Townsend Oaks. She was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Cirie was retired from the Elizabethton City Schools System. She loved spending time with her family, also she loved to read and cook. She was a member of West Side Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:
Terry Lee Blevins.

Survivors include her children: Terry Dale Blevins and wife Shon and Amy Collins and husband Kevin all of Elizabethton. Three Grandchildren: Brandon Blevins and wife Hannah, Emily Collins and Casey Blevins and his fiance Gracee Mabe. One Brother: David Oaks, One Sister: Meslissa Oaks.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Greg Key, Minister officiating. Music will be by Doreen Treadwell, Soloist and Kevin Collins, Pianist. Graveside Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday will be: Brandon Blevins, Casey Blevins, Jimmy Townsend, Jimmy Barnes, Brent Blackwell and Bobby Elliott. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Abigail Gass, Dr. Vivian Clark, Debbie Street and the Staff at Signature Health Care of Elizabethton and the Staff at the ER at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
