Christy Lynn Wright, 46, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born April 9, 1979, in Houston, Texas, but had lived her entire life in Carter County. She attended Unaka High School. She had managed Restaurants, mostly Arby's. She loved to keep fish. She was of the Baptist Faith. Christy was preceded in death by a brother; Shawn Jarrett and her husband: David Wright.

Survivors include her children: Brittaney Wright (Andrew) Scott and Brooklyn Paige Wright. Three Grandchildren Leighton, Rosalina, Lilah and one on the way, Callum: Her Mother and Step-father: Junett and Kenneth Ray Harrison, Sr. One Brother: Timothy Jarrett, One Sister: Nicole Honeycutt and her Maternal Grandmother: Betty Hurley. Her four-legged buddies: "Frankie and Piper"

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with John Wayne Daniels officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Faith, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
