Christie Elizabeth "Kiki" Tester, 33, Johnson City went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born January 16, 1992, in Norfolk, Virginia. She graduated from Hampton High School, East Tennessee State University and has a master's degree from Webster University in Missouri. Christie was employed at Citi Bank, Boones Creek where she served as an Assistant Vice President. She was serving on the Board of Directors at Happy Valley Boosters Club. She grew up at Siam Baptist Church where she was a member and was very active in her church. She loved her Lord and Her family. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather, Caleb Heaton, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Joshua Tester. Her Children: Philo and Sophia. Her Brother: Cale McKay. Her Parents: Chris & Karen McKay. Her Grandmother: Mary Heaton. Her aunt & Uncle: Kathy & John Brookshire. and her Mother & Father-in-Law: Lori & Tom Beam.
A Service to Celebrate the life of Christie will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastors Brian Holloway and Jack Roddy. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the Heaton Family Cemetery. Music will be by Tracy Shelton Powers. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Active Pallbearers will be: Chris McKay, Cale McKay, Tom Beam, Thomas Beam, John Brookshire, Brandon McCloud, Andrew Turner, Bruce Wiltshire, Clayton Crawford, Gary Jenkins, Travis Norris and Rick Arnold. Honorary Pallbearers will be her church family, Richard Beam, Cliff Ramey, Jeremiah Norris and Isaac Norris. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Siam Baptist Church, Children & Youth Funds. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
