Chad Milhorn, March 18, 1975---March 16, 2025, Jonesborough passed away at Franklin Woods Hospital. Some men don't pass through this world: they build their way through it, piece by piece, with grease-stained fingers and a will that won't quit. Chad Milhorn was one of those men. He didn't just own a machine-he understood it, down to the last bolt, the last whisper of the throttle, and when life threw a wrench in the works, he did what he always did—tightened his grip, muttered a few choice words, and got back to work.

Born on March 18, 1975, Chad was a man of grit, stubborn as they come, but with a heart that knew when to be soft. He was the kind of guy who'd argue with you just for the fun of it, but the second you needed him, he was there—no hesitation, no questions asked. He had a knack for making deals, a way of turning one set of keys into another without ever looking back. If there was an art to horse trading, Chad had mastered it—always leaving the ride cleaner than when he got it, always knowing when to make the next move.

For 17 years, he shared his life with Andrea Carter, his partner, through her, he was family to Zanna Carter and Zakery Burns.. His children: Taylor Milhorn and Justin Milhorn, carry his fire, his humor, and the unmistakable mark of a man who loved them fiercely. His Grandson, Axel Lott, was his greatest joy, a little spark of that same restless energy that ran in his blood.

Chad is also survived by his mother, Brenda Milhorn, and his brothers: Larry Casey and Monty Milhorn. He is reunited now with his brother, Bill Church, and his daughter, Kelsey Payne—gone too soon but never forgotten.

Chad lived with callused hands, a quick wit, and an engine always roaring in the background. He didn't leave behind riches, but he left something better---the kind of legacy that rumbles down the road long after the man is gone.

A service to honor Chad's life will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel at 2 pm. Saturday, March 22, 2025 with Mr. Dan Price, Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Highland Church of Christ Cemetery, Johnson City after the service. Active pallbearers will be Justin Milhorn, Danny Casey, Larry Hamilton, Josh Francis, Jeremy Anderson and Kenny Hensley. In honor of him, turn a wrench, take a ride, lend a hand.
