Chad Travis Ford, 51, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1975 in Johnson City. Chad was a graduate of Happy Valley High School in 1993. He was a Master Industrial Electrician. Over the years he spent his free time section hiking the Appalachian Trail, bird hunting and trout fishing. Chad attended Green Mountain F. W. Baptist and Grace Fellowship Churches.

Survivors include his Mother & Step-Father: Joan and Denny Ramsey. His Father Billy T. Ford wife Donna. One Sister: Autumn Ford. One Brother: Justin Ramsey. Loving survivors include several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & partner Hope Walsh. And we will never forget his Blue Healer Doc, as Chad never did.

his journey’s just begun,

life holds so many facets-

this earth is only one.

Think of him as living

in the hearts of those he touched…

for nothing loved is ever lost-

and he was loved so much.

It was his wish to be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
