Bobby Gene Clawson, 76, Johnson City, passed away Monday April 2, 2024 in the Johnson City Medical. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late James M. & Bradie Harmon Clawson. He was retired from the Iodent Corporation. He loved to fish, loved music and in earlier years he song with a Gospel groups. He attended Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-Mother: Luvenia Clawson, a sister & brother-in-law: Ilene & Lawrence Preslor.

Survivors include a sister: Diane (Dolan) Smith. One Nephew: James  Smith, Two Nieces: Billie Smith and Lori (Sam) Hoch One Great Niece; Hailey Smith, One Great nephew: Austin Smith. His Special Friend: Clois Cordell

It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
