Billie Joe Buck, 97, Johnson City passed away Sunday October 29, 2023 in the Signature Health Center. He was born July 5, 1926 to the late Joe & Minnie Eastridge Buck. He was retired from the American Bemberg Corporation. He loved fishing and blue grass music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Sneed Buck, by a son: Bobbie Buck 1st  a brother: Ray Buck and a sister Lou Oliver. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his Grandson: Bobbie Buck 2nd and his wife: Freda. A Great Grandson: Logan Buck, One Sister: Sue Jarrett, Elizabethton and One Brother: Jerry (Cotton) Buck, Elizabethton.  Several nieces and nephews. His special friends: Nancy Brown and Opal Shell.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Gary Edwards officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Signature Health for the excellent care he received.
