Beverly Ann Morley, age 78, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on October 31, 1946, in Rochester, New York, to the late Raymon and Alberta Graham Carter.
Mrs. Morley proudly served in the United States Air Force and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. In 1970, she made Carter County her home, where she became a respected member of the community and the proprietor of Beverly's Stained Glass Studio in Elizabethton, admired for her craftsmanship and artistic vision.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dale Morley; three sons: Terry (Marsha), David, and Todd (Regina); four grandchildren: Kasey, Tristan, Jacob, and Ivan; two great-grandchildren: Jayce and Evelyn, with one more expected, David Phillip. She also leaves behind three sisters, three brothers, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section), with Mr. Tim Campbell officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the Veterans Honor Guard of the Tri-Cities, and Beverly's grandson, Ivan, will perform "Taps" in her honor. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 9:50 a.m.
Following the interment, a Celebration of Life service will be held at Central Christian Church. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served, and guests are warmly encouraged to share stories and memories of Beverly as we honor her life and legacy.
