Betty Jewell Linville, 90, Elizabethton passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William J. & Ida Jane Tittle pate. She was retired from North Electric and Kennametal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband who died December 10, 2007, by a son: Larry A. Cole, a sister: Agnes Price and two brothers: Arvil and Virgil Pate. She was of the Presbyterian Faith.

Survivors include a daughter: Linda Buker & husband Scott, Birchwood, Tennessee and a son: Richard Joe Linville, Elizabethton. One Grandson: Jason Ray Davis. Several nieces and nephews including two special nieces: Sharon Williams and Debra Vance.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Ranshaw officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.Interment will be in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
