Barry Dale Norris, 73, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 in the Hermitage Health Center following an extended illness. He was born June 11, 1951 in Grundy, Virginia to the late Frank and Wanda Street Norris. He had lived in Carter County for the past 27 years. He was a graduate of J. J. Kelly High School in Wise, VA and received a Degree in Business Management from East Tennessee State University. He was a retired Salesman. Barry loved playing Golf and was an avid University of Tennessee Football fan. He was of the Presbyterian Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years: Julie Ritchie Norris. Three Brothers: Michael (Jean) Norris, Blountville, Tenn., Frank "Akur" Norris, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Dwight (Denise) Norris, Greeneville, Tenn. One Sister: Ann Norris Reid, Oregon. Several nieces & nephews.

It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
