Barbara Sue Buck Jarrett, 91, Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Hermitage Health Center. She was born May 5, 1933 in Johnson City to the late Joe and Minnie Eastridge Buck. In her earlier years she was a volunteer with the Central Community Club. She loved to read, loved her family and her church family. She was a member of the Johnson City Church of God, in earlier years she was very active in the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Foy Jarrett, a daughter: Tara Lady, One Sister: Lou Oliver and Two Brothers: Billy Joe Buck and Ray Buck.

Survivors include her Daughter & Son-In-Law: Shay & Keith Mullins. A Grandson and his wife: Dalton & Laura Mullins. Her Son-In-Law: Jack Lady.  One Brother: Jerry Buck and wife Frances. Also several special nieces and nephews. Also her four legged furry buddy "Gus".

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Gary Edwards officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Staff of Hermitage Health Center for the excellent care she received during her stay there.
