Anthony David Barnett, 57, Roan Mountain, passed away, Monday, April 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 16, 1967 in Banner Elk, North Carolina. He was a Carpenter. His hobby was motorcycles. Anthony was preceded in death by his mother: Shirley Ann Hughes Barnett. He was a member of Cove Creek Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his two daughters: Harley Cates and Anna Shey Powell. His Father: Claude Barnett. Two Brothers: John Barnett and Chris Barnett. His mother-in-law: Martha Heaton.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Anthony David Barnett will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in the Cove Creek Presbyterian Church with Pastor Lucus Hitchew officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.  Music will be provided by the David Johnson Family.  Honorary Pallbearers will be his many friends and his church family.  The family would like to express a special thank you to his many friends who helped him during his illness.  Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com .
