Anna Lea White, 88, Elizabethton, entered into rest Monday, October 20, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd William and Pearl Holtsclaw Culler. Mrs. White was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to quilt, sew and sharing her love to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Lowbrite White, March 2, 2000, Six Sisters and Six Brothers.
Survivors include Four Sons and Three Daughters-in-Law: Wayne and Pat White,Crestview, Florida, Beryl & Barbara White, Eldon & Kathy White and Mike White all of Elizabethton. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. A Special Niece: Louise McQueen. Two Sisters-in-Law: Estelle Culler and Anna Belle White both of Elizabethton. Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Lyons Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Potter officiating. Music will be provided by Jay Walsh. Active Pallbearers will be: Wayne White, Beryl White, Eldon White, Mike White, George McQueen and Brad White. The family would like to express a special "Thank You to the Staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home and Dr. Dean McLaughlin and his staff. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
