Alan Dale Taylor, 65, Elizabethton, passed away on May 20, 2023 unexpectedly at home. He was a Carter County native and was the son of the late Crandal M. Taylor and Jeannette Hartley. Dale was a Millwright Carpenter and a Truck Driver until retirement. He enjoyed training dogs and horses, as well as gardening and cooking. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to cherish his memories are Randy (Tonia) Taylor, brother and his two sisters: Connie (Jeff) Grindstaff Risdon and Tammy (David) Birchfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dale also had a sidekick, named Moses "Mo" that misses him.

It was Dale's wish to be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Shelter at 135 Sycamore Shoals Drive Elizabethton, TN. Condolences may be be sent to the family at our webiste: www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
