Adron Randolph Phipps, 81, Johnson City, passed away Friday, November 6, 2026, in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home. He was born December 27, 1944, in Johnson City to the late William & Ethel Jilton Phipps. Adron was a retired roofer. He loved to work in his yard. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Scotty Phipps and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include Two Children: Angela (Dwight) Presnell and Michael (Hope) Phipps. His Grandchildren: Bethany McClellan, Zachary and Summer Phipps, Baylee and Lance Clemons, Garrison Presnell and Saran Presnell. His Great Grandchildren: Nakel Johnson, Novalei Johnson, Colton Phipps, Mason Phipps, Jace Clemons, Jack Miller and Samantha Spencer Two Sisters: Evelyn Chesser and Jeannette (Daryl) Honeycutt. His Brother-In-Law: Morris Wyatt. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday November 11, 2026, in the Washington County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the graveside service. Active pallbearers will be: Aaron Chesser, Travis Chesser, Craig Wyatt, Jim Richardson, Zachaary Phipps, Dwight Presnell, Garrison Presnell and Michael Phipps.
