Our mom was born in Elizabethton, TN of the Stoney Creek community. Married the love of her Life, Vernon Estep. They enjoyed their life together until his passing in 1999. She was a mother of 5 children. She would always say, I'm so lucky to have all my children. I don't know what I would do without them. She spent a lot of time caring for other people in her lifetime. She had a brother, Ricky Taylor with special needs and dedicated her life for caring for him I her home until she was almost 80 years old. She lived a good and simple life with family always near. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and loved playing Rook with her family and loved finding little back roads to travel on. She was just a little granny that loved to dip her snuff and any holiday that came around, it was always at Granny Ett's house and you didin't have to be family to join in. She welcomed everyone with a smile and would say go get you something to eat honey. She had a big family and every Sunday evening they was family at her home. One little guy who has come almost every Sunday for the past two years to eat popcorn with his granny. Granny Ett (Mom) will be truly missed. But we have the memories and all the crazy things we did together to laugh and keep us going until we meet again.
